I recently met the author and creator of the website Living The Dream; Luke Roland. He and his wife’s story of how they are living their dream is really inspirational. He’s living his dream one day at a time and he wants us all to achieve our dreams too.
I wanted to share a post he wrote asking a question that I think is appropriate for all of us to consider; Where are you going? In his post he explains the importance of being accountable for your actions as well as not living the life that someone else wants you to live. This goes back to my question of What is YOUR dream?
To me, in order to get to living the life of your dreams, you need to know where you are headed. Think about it for a moment. When you go somewhere you’ve never been, you would use a map, right? Okay, maybe not now as most smartphones have a navigation application built into them, but you see where I’m going with this. In order to get to the life of your dreams, you need to write down what it looks like to you? How will you get to that life that you want? Once you have that, you should be able to use that as your guide. To get started on your way, use the basic questions of who, what, where, why and how. How will you know you have arrived at your destination if you don’t know where you’re going?
Blessings….
