You have brainstormed; you’ve written your vision, and have set some goals. Now it is time to step into action.
It’s time to take the goals that you listed above and start taking action towards them. To ensure that you don’t get overwhelmed, do one thing at a time. For best results, complete each step before moving on and starting the next one. To make progress, you have to continue taking action toward your goals and dreams.
There are going to be some days when you do not want to do anything. Remember you are not only a dreamer; you are also a doer. Review your goals often and see if you are on track. Sometimes your goals may need to be changed. You may need to add or remove some things. As you complete a goal, celebrate that step. You are one-step closer to achieving your dream. Keep moving forward until you are there.
Roadblocks/obstacles are a part of life and unfortunately, they seem to happen at the most inopportune times. How we handle those specific obstacles makes a difference. Sometimes our obstacles are good ones and sometimes they are bad. At times, they are there to protect us from something. However, they could deter you from making progress towards your dreams. If possible, do not let it get to that point. This is where balance comes in. Life does not stop just because we are pursuing our goals and dreams. Find a way around your obstacles. Do not let them stop you from getting to your destination.
Now, create your “to do” list. Write down all the things that you need to achieve towards your dream. As you achieve each one, check it off. Keep making steps towards
your dreams. Do not give up.
