Our goals and dreams are what keeps us going most of the time. Believe it or not, there is power in them. It gives us something to fight for; mainly ourselves and for our futures. We dream a lot during our days and/or our nights. We may be in a job that we don’t like or we feel lost in our lives and feel like we don’t have any sense of direction. Then we start wondering “What If?” What if I pursue that dream? What if I don’t. What if I fail? What if I succeed? “What if this or what if that”. These “what if” questions barricade our thoughts on what could be or not be.
We desire more for ourselves and our family, but don’t always know how to get there. While we’re dreaming, fear sets in. It sometimes stops us in our tracks and for that moment, we’re paralyzed and it seems that the dream ends. You can’t let fear get in the way of pursuing your dream. Sometimes you have to take risks in order to get to your dream. Don’t Stop believing in your dreams. Most importantly, don’t stop believing in yourself.
I was once there myself. I can relate to this more than you know. However, I had to make a decision; to keep on accepting the status quo or finally go after what it was that I wanted. I chose to pursue my dream. Was I scared? Of course I was. At time, I still am. My journey of pursuing my dream hasn’t always been easy. There have been many challenges along the way. This is going to happen no matter what you pursue. But, I am living my dream. Are you?
Believe me when I say this. You can do anything and have anything you want if you set your mind to it.
