What are you thinking, especially about your dreams? Our dreams are incredible things. It’s the start of our excitement for our life to change for the better. It’s the start of something that we have prayed for and hoped for to come to pass. The pursuit of our dreams is a different story. The dream itself is a good dream. We want our dreams to come true. Then it happens; that first thought is planted into our minds. It’s the thought of whether we can really have what we want or not. Then comes another thought. It’s the thoughts of doubt and impossibility. It all starts with a thought.
Our thoughts can change the direction of our dreams. It can change whether we pursue our goals and dreams or if we stay in the same spot that we have been. It all starts with a thought.
“Both poverty and riches are the offspring of thought.” ~ Napoleon Hill,
What are you thinking about yourself? What are you thinking about your dreams? Our thoughts are a huge difference in getting what we want. If you think that you can’t have what you want, then you’re right. You can’t. If you think you can have what you want, then you’re right again. You can. It all starts with a thought. Do you have the courage to think bigger than where you are? Our thoughts become our reality. All it takes is just one. That one thought can shift everything.
“Your story matters. The thoughts you think matter. The words you use matter. It can be the difference between getting everything you truly need and want, and not achieving or experiencing those things at all.” ~ Kristin Rath,
We have all been blessed with gifts to share with the world. Do you believe that? If not, why? Think about everything you can do and make a list. Add especially those things that you do well. I’m sure you have a few gifts to share with the world. Your first thought and question should be what can I do with what has been given to me? If you can answer that, you’re off to a great start. Remember, thoughts become reality.
As you continue your journey on the path of achieving your dreams, you’ll have thoughts about your goals every day. It’s how you choose to deal with those thoughts that can make or break your journey.
“Go forward and fulfill your dream.” ~ Lailah Gifty Akita,
Your future is entirely up to you. You have the power to change your reality. Your thoughts can move you forward towards the life of your dreams or stop you cold in your pursuit. If you’re thinking negative thoughts, it’s time to change them.
Here are a few ways to help change those negative thoughts into positive ones:
- Positive Affirmations. Yes, affirmations do work. However, in order for them to work, you have to use them often. It’s not a one-time quick fix. Write some affirmations down on post-it notes and place them where you’re most likely to see them; on your bathroom mirror or your refrigerator. You can also consider creating an affirmation board in Pinterest and read it every day. Another way to get started is to write some I AM statements: I am happy, I am receiving abundance, etc. For more help with affirmations, check out Louise Hay as she currently is giving away a 400+ Affirmations to Heal Your Body for signing up on her list. I personally love it.
- Changing Your Negative Thoughts Into Positive Ones. If you are putting your focus on something that could go wrong, change that thought and think of what could go right.
- Surround Yourself with Positive People. This is a great way to get out of your negative mindset. Talk to a friend that can help you change the perspective of the situation.
Here are three ways to get you started on your path to helping you change all of your negative thoughts into more positive ones. I would love to hear any strategies that you use to change your mindset. Please tell me in the comments below.
Until Next Time….Keep thoughts in check.
